Concept plans for the Regional Rail Transit System stations can be viewed below. The general locations of the stations were selected based on travel destinations in the Triangle. Between 1998 and 2001 several alternate locations for each station were studied. The proposed locations were reviewed with state and local government representatives, major stakeholders and the general public. In the winter of 2001-2002, the TTA Board of Trustees selected the final station locations to be included in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS).
