Research Triangle Park, N.C. - Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) routes have been affected by the state’s work at Slater Road in Durham County. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) closed the road Monday, March 29th as the NCDOT began construction on a bridge for the Northern Wake Expressway. Detour signs have been posted on Slater Road and Airport Boulevard, I-40 and Page Road. The construction will take at least one year.
The following TTA routes have been affected:

Route 105 – Raleigh/RTP

Route 301 – Cary/RTP
- Shuttle 747 – RDU Airport Shuttle (midday trips only)
These detours have been made during construction:

Route 105 will no longer serve the stop at Slater Rd.

Route 105 will no longer serve the stop at Slater Rd. @ Sheraton Imperial. The nearest stop will be located at Slater Road @ Bright Horizons.
- Route 301 and Shuttle 747 (mid-day only) will no longer serve Slater Rd. @Sheraton Imperial. The nearest stop will be located at Emperor Blvd. @ LCI (eastbound) or Emperor Blvd @ Yorkshire Place (westbound).
- Routes 105 and 301 will no longer serve Slater Rd @ Sorrels Grove Rd./Copley Pkwy. The nearest stop will be located at Copley Pkwy. @ Prime Outlets.

TTA is a regional public transportation provider, offering a wide variety of transit services to North Carolina's greater Triangle Region and outlying counties.
