Research Triangle Park N.C. – Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) will hold a Bus and Paratransit Operator job fair from 9 A.M. to 12 Noon on Saturday, October 16th at the TTA Bus Transfer Facility at 6 Park Drive (Davis Drive and N.C. 54) near the Radisson Governor’s Inn.
TTA Bus Operators will help provide service to Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Garner, RDU International Airport, Research Triangle Park (RTP) and Raleigh. TTA’s Paratransit Service is a shared-ride service with modern, accessible vehicles for people with disabilities who are unable to use TTA buses. Riders who are unable to access vans by using steps can use wheelchair lifts.
Applicants for Bus and Paratransit positions must have a clean driving record and have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement. They must also operate TTA bus and paratransit vehicles in a safe, dependable, efficient and on-time manner. A Department of Transportation physical and drug screening are required.
Interviews will be held on site for qualified applicants. TTA’s starting pay is $10.88 an hour and also offers its bus operators paid training, benefits (including paid medical insurance and retirement), uniforms (provided), and an available split shift.

TTA is a regional public transportation provider, offering a wide variety of transit and vanpool services to North Carolina's greater Triangle Region and outlying counties. Bus service is available to Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Garner, RDU International Airport, RTP and Raleigh.
