Triangle Transit Authority is not responsible for passenger items left on buses. However, any lost item that is found on a TTA vehicle will be turned into dispatch. With the exception of perishable food, items will be kept for one week (five working days). At the end of one week, the item will be discarded. For items such as wallets, credit cards, or identification cards, every effort will be made to contact the individual. If contact cannot be made and an address is available, the item will be placed in the mail.
The Lost & Found office is located at the Customer Service Window at the TTA Bus Transfer Center. Hours are from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday - Friday and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays. If you have lost an item, call 919-485-RIDE (7433) to speak a customer service representative.
